A career in building services
Norberto Velez is CEO / President of Add Life Facilities Services. His career has included leading commercial cleaning companies and planning building workloads.
Norberto began his career in New York as a planner for an international building services firm. His work involved assessing building workloads. In 2007, he acquired part ownership of Customized Performance, Inc. and became its president, working in California’s commercial cleaning industry.
In 2019, he sold Customized Performance and acquired a majority interest in Spotless Maintenance Services, becoming its president.
Supporting businesses and community
Norberto’s work has also included supporting minority business owners through the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council. He chaired its MBE Input Committee in 2015 and its mentorship committee in 2017.
In November 2016, while Norberto was president, Customized Performance announced a partnership with Cleaning for a Reason to offer free housecleaning to women with cancer in its Bay Area service area.
